Man Utd and Chelsea power on to FA Cup 4th round

Late goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney powered Manchester United to a 2-0 victory at Aston Villa.

Chelsea went through with a 1-0 win over neighbours QPR.

Middlesbrough saw off Bristol City, Portsmouth overcame Ipswich, while a brace from Stephen Hunt earned Reading a replay with Tottenham.

Wigan were 3-0 winners away at Roy Keane's struggling Sunderland, while West Ham and Manchester

City drew a blank at Upton Park.

Championship leaders West Brom were held 1-1 by Charlton.

Peterborough booked their place in the fourth round with a 3-1 win at Colchester.

Southend, Southampton, Preston and Watford all went through, and there were also wins for Barnsley, Norwich and Plymouth.
