Liverpool's Mohamed Sissoko is expected to be out of action for a month of more after suffering a suspected dislocated shoulder last night.
The Mali international, who is a key player in the Liverpool squad, was detained in hospital overnight after picking up the injury in the Carling Cup game against Birmingham.
Manager Rafael Benitez says: "We don't know for how long Sissoko will be out, but it may be quite some time. He may have dislocated his shoulder. It maybe will be more than one month."
