Pistorius released from hospital following boating accident

Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius has been released from hospital after suffering head and facial injuries in a boating accident.

The 22-year-old South African double amputee, nicknamed 'The Blade Runner', won three gold medals at the Beijing Paralympics last September.

The South African is due to compete at the BT Paralympic World Cup in Manchester in May.
