Body found in Cork was that of missing Bandon man

Gardai in Cork have confirmed the identity of a body discovered near the River Bandon at Ballinadee yesterday evening.

The remains were those of 35-year-old Packie Williamson, who was originally from Clonakilty, but living in Bandon.

The father-of-five was last seen leaving a house party in Bandon on September 15th.
