The 33-year-old was found dead at his holiday apartment on the Spanish island last Saturday.
A post mortem concluded that he died from natural causes.
The Gately family is understood to have a history of heart problems.
They are due to hold a private mass tomorrow night followed by a funeral service at St Lawrence O'Toole Church in Dublin's north inner city on Saturday afternoon.
A memorial service is also expected to be held in London, where Gately and his partner shared a home.
