FF welcomes latest positive tracker poll

Published 27/01/2008

Fianna Fail has welcomed the findings of today's opinion poll which show support for the party is up 4 points to 36 per cent.

However, the Red C poll in today's Sunday Business Post has also revealed that over half of voters do not believe the Taoiseach's evidence to the Mahon Tribunal.

Fine Gael is up by 1 point to 32 per cent while the Labour Party is down 3 points to 10 per cent.

Fianna Fail has said the results prove that the Opposition have yet again got it wrong and that Fine Gael and Labour should learn that vulgar, petty and personalised politics don't work.

Today's poll also shows strong support for the Lisbon Treaty.
