Green Party to protest outside Russian embassy

The Green Party is to protest outside the Russian embassy in Dublin today.

The party says it's concerned about the many journalists and activists who have been killed under President Vladimir Putin's regime.

The demonstration has been organised to mark International Human Rights Day.

Similar protests are to take place outside embassies in London, Berlin, Brussels and Vienna.

Meanwhile, the widow of Alexander Litvinenko said she believes Russian authorities could be behind her husband's death.

Marina Litvinenko has been speaking publicly for the first time since his death from radiation poisoning.

She said the ex-spy's last words were - "Marina, I love you so much."

Speaking to the Sunday papers, she says she doesn't believe the full truth of what happened will ever come out.
