Joan Burton elected Deputy Leader of Labour Party

Joan Burton has been elected the new Deputy Leader of the Labour party.

In total, 4,641 ballots were sent out for the postal vote and 2, 763 were returned (59.3%).

Burton the Dublin West TD received 1,418 preferences, while Jan O'Sullivan from Limerick East got 1,276.
