O'Keefe urges government to tackle gun crime

Fine Gael's Justice Spokesperson, Jim O' Keefe has called on the Justice Minister to tackle what he said is a never-ending spate of gun crime.

He said that the recent increase in gang related gun crime is reminiscent of the era of Al Capone and that the problem "is not being tackled by the government."

His comments follow two serious shooting incidents in Dublin on Friday night.

Two men were injured following separate shootings in Phibsborough and at Annamoe Parade, off the North Circular Road.
