Campaigners demand details on HSE's nursing home move

Campaigners on behalf of the elderly are demanding that the Health Service Executive name the private nursing homes where it is refusing to send new patients.
The organisation confirmed this morning that it had suspended admissions to at least five homes in Dublin and Wicklow following recent inspection reports.
The HSE says it is satisfied with the level of care for patients who are already in the facilities and is simply suspending further admissions until certain matters are addressed.
However, it is refusing to name the homes in question.
Age Action Ireland says this secrecy is not helpful and is demanding that the HSE name the homes and explain exactly why it has suspended admissions to them.
