A special dawn service has been held in Dublin to remember the thousands of soldiers killed at Gallipoli in Turkey during the First World War.
Ex-pat Australians and New Zealanders will also attend other services to marking ANZAC Day
Chris Kinder from the New Zealand Ireland Association said the ceremonies are about having hope for the future as well as remembering those who died.
