Four rescued off Co Cork coast

Four people have been rescued off the coast of West Cork this afternoon after their pleasure boat got in difficulties one mile from Woodpoint in Courtmacsherry harbour.

An RNLI Lifeboat was called out at 12.15 to go to the aid of a 28 foot boat.

The craft has now been towed to safety and all four on board are reported to be safe and well.
