Further €1.8m judgement made against Breifne O'Brien

Published 02/02/2009

Yet another judgment has been made against alleged pyramid scheme operator Breifne O'Brien, this time following an action by his brother-in-law.

Belgian financier Bernard Lambilliotte, who is married to O'Brien's sister, is seeking €1.8m back from the businessman.

This brings to 10 the number of people who have taken legal action against O'Brien in a bid to recoup their monies.

Mr Justice Peter Kelly today made an order of a further €1.8m against O'Brien, from Glenageary in south Dublin.
