Gardai appeal for information to Dublin shooting

Published 02/12/2007

Gardai are investigating a shooting in a pub in Dublin city.

A 25-year-old man remains in hospital after he was shot in the shoulder last night.

The incident happened at the Finglas Inn on Barry Road in Finglas just after 11 o'clock last night.

Two men entered the pub with a sawn off shot gun and approached a man in the toilets.

One of them took out the gun and shot the 25-year-old in the shoulder.

The attackers fled the scene on foot before the gardai arrived, and the victim was rushed to the Mater Hospital, where he's now in a stable condition.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Finglas Garda Station.
