Gardai name victim of fatal stabbing

Gardai have released the name of the 23-year-old victim of last night's fatal stabbing in West Dublin

Anthony Mc Grath of Whitestown Walk in Clonsilla was found with serious injuries following a knife attack in the early hours of the morning.

He was rushed to nearby James Connolly Memorial hospital but was later pronounced dead.

A number of weapons were recovered at the scene.

A 35-year-old man who was detained in relation to the incident has been released without charge within the past hour, and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecution.
