Gardai seek public's help in two missing persons cases

Gardai in Sligo and Dublin are seeking the public's help in two missing persons cases.

The Sligo case involves a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from her residence in Sligo since September 13th/

Melissa Mahon is five feet tall, of thin build, with long, black hair and a pale complexion.

In Dublin, meanwhile, Gardai say a 29-year-old man who has been missing since last month may be in need of medical help.

John Byrne was last seen near his home in the Francis Street area of Dublin 8 in the early hours of October 18th.

Gardai say he may have travelled to England by ferry from Dublin Port.
