Homes evacuated amid major house fire in north Dublin

A number of people have been evacuated from their homes in north Dublin this morning as a result of a major house fire in the Drumcondra area.

Richmond Road and Gracepark Road have also been closed to traffic as a result of the blaze, which broke out at around 5am.

One person has been hospitalised and motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
