Increased support for people with disabilities needed says Child Ombudsman

The Ombudsman for Children wants greater support for people with disabilities.

Emily Logan is urging the Government to back a new UN Convention on the rights of disabled people.

Ms Logan is also asking that children with disabilities be involved in planning new policies, and that every effort is made to combat negetive stereotypes.
