Lorry driver recovers after hijacking.

A man is recovering after his lorry was hijacked on the Naas Road in Kildare yesterday.

At around half past two yesterday afternoon two men in a silver car forced the man to pull his lorry over to the side of the road, just outside Kill.

They entered the vehicle, blindfolded the man, drove him to an unknown location and stole the goods inside.

They then drove the man and lorry back to Johnstown at around five o'clock and escaped on foot.

The lorry driver is uninjured, but shocked.
