Man arrested following fatal stabbing

Gardai are investigating a fatal stabbing incident in Dublin.

The incident occured at Whitetowns Walk in Whitestown, Dublin 15 in the early hours of this morning.

A 23 year man was taken to Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown following the incident, where he died a short time later.

A 35 year old man has been arrested and is being questioned in Blanchardstown Garda Station.

The scene of the stabbing has been preserved for a technical examination.
