Man charged with murder of Kenneth Nicholl in Larne

A 35-year-old man has appeared in court in the North charged with the murder of Kenneth Nicholl in Co Antrim at the beginning of this month.

Troy McAuley, with an address at Herbert Avenue in Larne, Co Antrim, appeared before Coleraine Magistrates Court this morning.

He has been remanded in custody until November 21st.

Twenty-nine-year-old Kenneth Nicholl was found stabbed to death in an alleyway behind Herbert Avenue on Sunday, November 2nd.

Meanwhile, a woman who was arrested yesterday on suspicion of withholding information in relation to his murder has been released without charge.
