A married father of four will appear in court to be sentenced for the murder of a teenage girl more than 26 years ago.
Paul Hutchinson, 51, pleaded guilty last month to killing 16-year-old Colette Aram in October 1983.
The court heard the former electrician and youth worker abducted the trainee hairdresser as she walked to her boyfriend's house in the Nottinghamshire village of Keyworth.
He then raped the teenager, strangled her with his hands and finally dumped her body in a field.
Hutchinson, of West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, will appear at Nottingham Crown Court.
He is currently on remand and was told last month he faced a mandatory life sentence.
