Man questioned over Dublin drugs released without charge

Garda€ are preparing a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions following a drugs seizure in Dublin yesterday.

A 29 year-old man was questioned by Gardai overnight in connection with the incident, but was released without charge this morning.

€80,000 worth of heroin was seized during a planned search of a premises at Cork Street in the south inner city, at about 7pm yesterday.

The operation was carried out by members of the drugs unit attached to Pearse Street Garda Station.
