Published 10/12/2006

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions, after a man questioned in connection with the murder of Meg Walshe was released without charge.

Gardai arrested the man in Waterford City yesterday morning and released him just after 8 o' clock last night.

The body of 35 year old Meg Walshe was recovered from the River Suir in Waterford City on the 15th of October, two weeks after she was reported missing by work colleagues.

A post-mortem revealed she had died from trauma injuries to her head and upper body.
