Mulhall brother appears in court on robbery of brothel charges

The brother of two women convicted in connection with the headless body in the canal death has appeared in court charged with three counts of robbing a number of brothels in Dublin.

29 year old James Mulhall from Ardmore Walk in Tallaght was arrested yesterday along with another man Paul Draper from Fortunestown in Tallaght in connection with the robberies.

The two men were arrested yesterday morning and brought to Store Street garda station where they were charged last night in connection with a number of robberies at brothels around the Dublin city centre.

It's alleged they went into a number of premises over the past two and a half months posing as clients and robbing protitutes of money and mobile phones.

Garda Deirdre Conway also told the court Gardai were objecting to bail adding that further charges of a more serious nature may be brought.

The matter of bail is back before the court this afternoon.
