New group set up for Irish-Moldovans

A new association to promote the interests of Ireland's growing Moldovan community was unveiled in Dublin today.

The Moldovan Association of Ireland will represent the interests of around five thousand Moldovans living here in areas such as business, culture and social integration.

It is also hoped the association will help develop stronger relations between Ireland and Moldova.
