No progress reported at talks in nurses' dispute

Very little progress has been reported between the two sides involved in the nurses dispute.

The Irish Nurses Organisation and the Psychiatric Nurses Association are locked in discussion with the HSE.

The row centres on pay and conditions for around 40,000 nurses around the country.

If the dispute isn't resolved, industrial action will begin at 8am tomorrow.

The HSE has already cancelled a number of non-emergency procedures following the threat of action.
