Health experts are warning parents of the dangers to their children if they spend the summer slouching.
During the school holidays young people are less likely to do physical activity and will snack more.
Children need at least sixty minutes of exercise everyday and should eat three balanced meals.
Doctor Louise Sullivan from the Nutrition and Health Foundation says the risks of an unhealthy summer are high.
