Police investigate assault on Portrush teen

Police in the North are investigating a serious assault on a 19-year-old man in Colraine.

The teenager was stabbed several times in the Crocknamack area of Portrush at around 11 o'clock last night.

He was rushed to hospital, where he is now in a stable condition.

Detectives are now searching for a man who was seen running from the scene shortly after the attack.
