Polish Murder Victim Laid to Rest

One of the two Polish men killed in a vicious attack in Dublin last month was laid to rest today in his native country.

27 year old Mariusz Szwajkos died after being stabbed with a screwdriver on Benbulben Road in Drimnagh on the 23rd of February.

His friend 29-year old Pavel Kalite was also killed in the attack.

Minister of State Sean Haughey, who is in Poland for St Patrick's Day, offered his sympathies to the family of Mariusz Szwajkos.

He also assured the Polish people that everything possible was being done to ensure that the perpetrators of this crime are brought to justice.
