Prayers said for Wexford family found dead after house fire

A family of four found dead in the home in Wexford have been remembered at local mass services this morning.

The bodies of 41-year-old Dermot Flood, his 38-year-old wife Lorraine and their two young children were found after a fire at their home in Clonroche early on Saturday morning.

The children's bodies had injuries consistent with a fire while the parents had additional injuries.

A licensed shotgun was found at the house.

Gardai are treating the deaths as suspicious.

Post mortem examinations are underway on the bodies in Dublin.
