Principal of Clonroche National School remembers Flood family

The Principal of Clonroche National School has said the community in Co Wexford is struggling to come to terms with the death of a young family.

The bodies of 41 year old Dermot Flood, his 38 year old wife Lorraine and their 2 young children were found after a fire at their home in Clonroche early yesterday morning.

Post mortems on their bodies are to take place in Dublin today.

The family were remembered at local mass services today.

Norma Doyle has said 6 year old Mark and 5 year old Julie were beautiful and bubbly children, and they will be sadly missed.
