A prisoner who was released from custody instead of another man has been caught.
The man 35-year-old Mark Kenny who was serving a sentence for robbery has been tracked down in Ballyfermot in Dublin after being on the run since June.
He had been let go from Mountjoy jail after authorities mistook him for another inmate of the same name.
The man who was rearrested yesterday evening has been returned to prison to complete the remainder of his jail term.
