Proposed M3 tolls to earn Eurolink €1bn over 45 years

Published 01/07/2007

It is being reported this morning that all the tolls collected from the planned M3 motorway will go directly to a private company.

Eurolink, which won the contract to build and operate the controversial motorway earlier this year, will take one hundred percent of the tolls for the first 45 years of the road's life.

According to the Irish Daily Mail, this will net the company nearly one billion euros.
