The search for seven missing fishermen in the south-east will resume this morning at first light.
Gale force winds and rough waves off the southern coast yesterday made it too dangerous for divers to trawl the seabed.
It's hoped that improved weather conditions will allow sea searches to go-ahead today.
Coastguard teams - supported by local volunteers - will fan out along the shoreline from Dungarvan to the Hook.
The Irish Coastguard says the diving operation will get underway if the weather allows.
