Sentencing of Westmeath man for sexual assault charges adjourned

Sentence on a Co Westmeath man for sexually assaulting three young girls, has been adjourned pending a psychiatric report.

The 44 year old man convicted of four charges by a jury in May, although he was found not guilty on one other count.

The incidents happened at north Dublin and Roscommon addresses on April 16th and September 10th 2002 and on May 1st 2005 on girls aged seven to 11 years.

The man, who now lives in Co Roscommon, has been registered as a sex offender.
