Severe weather conditions set to continue

Published 02/12/2007

More high winds and waves are forecast to hit the country again today.

Swells as high as 13 point 2 meters were recorded off the south west coast yesterday.

Low pressure is to blame for the extreme conditions which have been battering the west of Ireland.

The bad weather has led to the cancellation of a number of ferry services.
