Singing tutor convicted of accessing child pornography

A singing tutor in Northern Ireland has been given a 12-month suspended sentence for accessing pornographic images of children.

49-year-old Aubrey William McClintock of Greenfield Park in Armagh admitted 16 charges after US law enforcement agencies contacted the PSNI.

Mr McClintock had used his credit card to access the images on the internet.

He has now been placed on the sex-offenders register and will have to inform the parents of potential students of his conviction.
