Teenage girl dies after being knocked down in Co Cork

A teenage girl has died in hospital from injuries she sustained after being struck by a car in Co Cork last week.

Fourteen-year-old Clodagh Murphy had been in a serious condition since being knocked down at Tower in Blarney on Wednesday.

She lost her fight for life at Cork University Hospital yesterday.
