Three men charged in connection with €2m cocaine seizure

Three men have appeared before Kilmainham District Court charged in connection with a drug seizure in Co Kildare.

The three, all in their 20s, have been charged with the possession of over €2m worth of cocaine for sale or supply.

Twenty-two-year-old Eoin Doherty, with an address at Elmount Court in Beaumont, made no application for bail and was remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on December 6th.

Gary O'Donoghue, who is also 22 and has an address at Thorndale Park in Artane, was granted bail with a number of conditions attached, including an independent surety of €5,000.

He will appear again at Kilmainham District Court.

Twenty-four-year-old Alvin Lawlor, from Castle View in Artane, was granted bail subject to a number of conditions, including an independent surety of €10,000.

He is due back in court again on January 10th.
