Two Irish authors are among 138 novelists included on the long list for next year's International IMPAC Award.
John Banville is included for his Booker Prize-winning novel The Sea, while Sebastian Barry is also on the list of nominations for his book A Long, Long Way.
The nominations are made by libraries in 49 countries around the world.
The shortlist will be announced in April, with the winner receiving the prize in June.
