Woman released without charge in Cork death investigation

Published 14/10/2007

A woman who was being questioned by Gardai in Clonakilty in connection with the death of a man in west Cork was released without charge yesterday.

The 19-year-old had been arrested on Friday in Dublin.

Two other women, who were also arrested on Friday, are still being held at Bandon Garda Station in connection with the investigation.

The body of the 37-year-old British man was found in a slurry pit on a farm near Dunmanway earlier this week.

After a post-mortem was carried out a murder investigation was launched into his death.
