Woman sexually assaulted in broad daylight in Belfast park

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to a sexual assault in Belfast yesterday, in broad daylight afternoon at Colin Glen Forest Park.

Police said that a woman in her mid- to late-20s was approached by a teenage boy, believed to be around 16.

She was then dragged into some bushes in the park where she was sexually assaulted.

The teenager is described as being between 5' 6'' and 5' 8'', of thin build with ginger / brown curly hair.

Police said there were a number of people in the park at the time and are appealing for them to come forward.
