Pakistan's Election Commission has again delayed a decision on whether voting will go ahead next week.
The delay follows trouble sparked by the death of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
A formal announcement is expected on Wednesday and is likely to confirm the postponement of the polls.
Michael Gahler from the EU Limited Election Observation Mission says his team will not be able to fully assess the election if the vote goes ahead.
