Flooding out of control in Britain

Published 22/07/2007

In the UK further flooding is expected as emergency services continue to rescue people already caught up in the chaos caused by the weather.

Oxford and Gloucester are among the places on alert.

There are concerns about water levels in rivers running through built-up areas.

Up to one-hundred-and-fifty thousand customers are set to lose mains supplies because a Severn Trent treatment centre is flooded.
