Police say Rhys 'not intended' target of gun shot as family light candles in remembrance

Published 26/08/2007

Rhys Jones has been remembered at church services across Liverpool.

The 11 year-old was gunned down in Croxteth in Liverpool by a youth on a BMX.

Police now say they don't think he was the intended target.

They're holding six teenagers over his murder on Wednesday night.

Rhys' family have been to light candles at St Lukes, next to Everton's football

club - his favourite team.
