Ten die in Afghanistan violence

Two NATO soldiers and eight civilians have been killed during two separate outbreaks of violence in Afghanistan.

The soldiers - whose nationalities are not yet known - were killed during fighting in the east of the country.

In a separate incident, foreign troops have shot dead eight civilians.

They opened fire after a suicide attack on their convoy near the eastern city of Jalalabad.
