Barack Obama has swept to victory in South Carolina's Democratic primary.
The Senator won more votes that all his rivals combined.
Hillary Clinton came second, ahead of next month's Super Tuesday, when more than twenty states choose their presidential candidate.
Senator Obama has claimed he is winning the race saying after the result, "after four great contests in every corner of this country, we have the most votes, the most delegates and the most diverse coalition of Americans that we've seen in a long, long time".
