US launches forum on climate change
The US is inviting 16 world leaders to take part in a forum on climate change.
The talks will take place over two days at the end of April in Washington, to facilitate a UN pact on global warming.
The 16 leaders will engage in the discussions in preparation for the global climate change convention being held in Copenhagen in December.
France, Germany, Britain, Russia, Canada, Australia and China will all be among those attending.
