US presidential hopefuls face off in TV debates

Published 06/01/2008

America's presidential hopefuls have faced each other live on TV.

The Republicans clashed over George W Bush's foreign policy - in particular the Iraq war.

The encounter comes just days ahead of the key New Hampshire primaries.

The Democrat candidates - including Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama - launched scathing attacks on each other.

Current Democrat poll leader Obama denied claims from Clinton that he keeps changing his position on certain issues.
